The Warriors played The Mill in the Division III Sectional and came one stroke short of the third team qualifying for a spot in the District tournament.

Braden Fleming led with an 83 (43-40) and birdied the par-5 sixth. Logan Denhardt followed with a 90. Ethan Speers carded a 96. Jackson Taylor shot 99, and Jax Mangin added a 100. The counting four finished at 368.
Braden and Logan both moved on as individuals. Braden was the first individual qualifier. Logan took the third individual spot. Both will play in the district tournament.

After play, a scoring decision determined the last qualifying place. A Miami Valley Christian Academy player left without submitting a certified card, and his score in the OHSAA app was not updated past the 12th hole until more than an hour after the round. OHSAA later allowed him to return and certify a score from his own notes. That accepted score put MVCA one stroke ahead of Dayton Christian.

The team sends Braden and Logan forward to District which will be held on Monday, September 28 at Heatherwoode Golf Course.
