The Warrior Golf Team traveled to Springfield, beating Emmanuel Christian 180-188 at the Springfield Elks Golf Course.

Braden Fleming set the tone with a one over par 38, birdieing the par-4 11th and the par-5 15th (466 yards). Jackson Taylor carded a season best six over par 43, also birdieing the 11th. Jax Mangin posted a 47 and closed with a birdie reaching the long par-5 18th in two shots. Logan Denhardt, AJ Blatz and Noah Ellis rounded out the lineup.

The team observed Emmanuel Christian players doing a push-up for every stroke they took. The consensus among players was this would be an excellent way to build strength and endurance and a practice that our team should adopt.

Finally, no trip to Springfield would be complete without a stop at Young's Dairy.
