The Warrior Golf Team pulled out a close one at Pipestone this evening, beating Middletown Christian 168-172. The night got an extra lift before the first tee when the DC Girls Volleyball team showed up unexpectedly to offer well wishes and cheer the guys on.

Braden Fleming led the way again with a sharp 37 and birdies on the 6th and 7th. Ethan Speers had his best round of the year with a 43. Jax Mangin and Logan Denhardt both carded 44s, with Jax birdieing the 7th and Logan knocking in a birdie on the par-5 2nd. Jackson Taylor added a 45 and a birdie on the testing par-4 4th. AJ Blatz rounded out the lineup.

It was a true team win in a tight match. The guys competed and fed off the support. Next up is the Tilton Invitational on Saturday at The Mill in Cincinnati, followed by a visit to Springfield Elks on Monday against Emmanuel Christian. Keep it going — go Warriors!
