The DC Warriors Girl's JV volleyball team began their new 2026 season with a huge win at home against the Bethel High School Bees taking two out of the three sets.

The Warriors started strong in dominating the early part of set one but then allowed the Bees to gain momentum, but finished strong in a 25-20 final score. Chloe Totzke, freshman Lucy Dagnall and Libero Halle Carroll all claimed 2 serving aces to lead the team.

Set two was just the opposte with Bethel starting out strong taking advantages of Warriors miscues. After being down by double-digits, DC finally reclaimed momentum and battled back only to lose that set in the end 22-25.

But in set three the Warriors found their groove again and let the entire set and claiming the match with a score of 25-21. Payton Kramer sealed the win with a serving ace for the final point. Dagnall also had 4 more serving aces in that match.

DC carries that momentum in to their next match which will be Monday, August 24 @ 5:30 pm in the DC Warrior Center.
