Throws, Relays, Sprints, Prs, Jumps it was all on display at the University of Findlay Daves Running Last Chance Meet

The Warriors finish strong at their last regular season meet, moving closer into rankings of the D4 State OATCCC Indoor Track Championships qualifications. Warriors ran this past weekend in the University of Findlay Daves Running High school last chance Saturday meet in Findlay , Ohio.

The throwing team of Charlie Garber and Jacob Cutler would start off the meet for the Warriors. Charlie Garber throws impressive season PR and 21st place with a throw 24-5. Jacob Cutler would follow up with an indoor PR 37-3 with 35th place finish. Eric Okojie Triple jump 35-9 7th, Long Jump 17-11.75 15th. Zoya Aulakh season PR in girls long jump 10-4.02, Lydia Dawson double up in jumps Long Jump 11-11.7 17th, Triple Jump 25-5.51 14th.

Sprints were nothing far from short nor slow Saturday. Triple crown record breaker Braylen Biffle set two new school records, 3 season PRs. Braylen was part of the new school 4x200 relay record 1:39.36(1:37.51c 300m) along with teammates Zee Dow, Eric Okojie, Ezra Tirey finish 11th currently ranked 10th in D4. He also set a new school 60m and just missed short of finals 7.39, Braylen turn around and ran season PR in 200 24.20 (23.77c 300m). Right in front was Zee Dow in 200 24.09. Zee currently holds 200 Indoor record for DC just set last week at OSU 23.85 (23.43c 300m). Running in multiple sprints Ezra Tirey and Jameson Mays both follow up with PR of their own in 200 for the season. Ezra ran 26.15, Jameson 32.16. Charlie Garber, Lydia Dawson, and Zoya Aulakh ran very strong races in 60 and 200.

The Warrior distance team just kept running, running, and running at the University of Findlay. Coming off his return at OSU last week, Sam Ferriman continues with another great run in the 1600m finishing 5th at a season best 4:39.77 (4:36.24c 300m). Grace Eckert finishes 15th in girls 1600m with a time of 6:11.48. Andrew Eckert 7th grader rising star was nothing but impressive, while running another record breaking DC MS boys 1600m time of 5:29.28 39th/51 runners by beating previously his record 5:41.83. Very proud of all the Warriors this season, great job finishing strong in the last regular indoor season meet.

Always, All the Glory to God! All of Him and None of Me! Next up for the Warriors the final top 30 performances and then top 16 to State. OATCCC D4 State Track and Field Indoor Championships March 7th. Final top 16 will be posted Monday March 2nd. Lets Go Warriors!
