After a years’ absence from the Girls District Swim meet, the lady warriors placed two relays and two individual swims at this year’s meet. The quartet of Garrett, Dubusky, Ross, and Holbrook gained valuable experience by competing for the first time at the district meet. Coach Wiggershaus shared, “I am very proud of these young ladies. Several of them swam today while sick or recovering from being sick. We had some really good relay swims and Adalyn was rewarded for her work this season with swims in two individual events. Like the boys, the girls will be even better next year with all the returning swimmers we have. I am already looking forward to next season!”
The season is over for the lady warriors. They had an amazing season and were rewarded with an appearance at the district meet. The team thanks everyone for the support this year and invite their classmates to come and join us next year and become a Warrior of the Water!
Below are recaps of each district race.
