Dayton Christian battled hard at home but fell just short in a thrilling 60–54 loss to Carlisle, dropping to 12–8 (7–6) on the season. The contest featured multiple lead changes and tense late-game moments, with both teams trading momentum throughout a tightly contested night.

The Warriors opened strongly, taking a 14–12 first-quarter lead behind senior Reid Collins, who knocked down two early three-pointers and set the tone with aggressive perimeter play. Carlisle answered with a run that carried into the second quarter, seizing an 18–14 edge. Dayton Christian rallied to tie the game at 21–21 midway through the second, but Carlisle closed the half on a hot stretch from deep and led 27–23 at intermission. Carlisle’s hot shooting from deep — nine three-pointers in the first half — fueled their halftime lead.

The second half remained just as competitive, with neither team able to build a commanding lead. The third frame ended with Carlisle clinging to a 1-point advantage at 37–36. Sophomore Henry Meredith erupted in the fourth, hitting three timely three-pointers to keep the Warriors on pace. The sharp-shooting guard finished with 12 points, going 4-of-7 from three (57%). Senior Brayden Kidd provided steady scoring throughout, contributing 12 points on the night.

The Warriors twice pulled within a single point in the final minute, but Carlisle closed the game at the free-throw line to secure the win. Despite the loss, Collins delivered a standout performance, leading Dayton Christian with 19 points on 6-of-14 shooting. Collins was particularly lethal from long range, connecting on 5-of-12 three-point attempts (42%) and going 2-for-2 from the free-throw line.
