The Dayton Christian Swim Team competed in the highly competitive Fairmont Invite Friday night at the Kettering Rec Center. This meet featured several State Qualifiers from last season, and yet, the young Warriors of the Water were not deterred, producing 17 Personal Records (PRs). Coach Wiggershaus shared, “I am so proud of this team. The teams we faced tonight were loaded from top to bottom, but our kids continue to do what we ask of them, just do your best.” Leading the team was Sophomore Adalyn Holbrook with two 4th Place finishes in her individual events, the 200 IM and the 100 Free. Also finishing with two top 10 places was Sophomore Maddie Dubusky in the 50 and 100 Free, coming in 8th place in both races. Senior Heath Conely led the boys with 10th place finishes in both the 50 Free and 100 Fly. The Warriors will host their first swim meet of the season, The Warriors of the Water Invitational, Saturday December 20th at the Dayton Raiders Aquatic Center. The first race begins at 6:00pm. The Warrior Swim Team invite you to come out cheer them on to victory!
