The DC Lady Warriors Varsity Soccer team came out on fire against the Middletown Madison Lady Mohawks, netting their first goal in the first 35 seconds of the game (R. Zemmer, asst B. Acker)! DC continued to control the play both on offense and defense. Amazing foot work and accurate clearances by Hoppe, Hall, Regginello, Holbrook, Aldridge and Jablonski stymied the Madison attacks, and the midfield set the offense up for some great crosses and shots. K. Domigan (E. Moore) and E. Moore added two more goals before half time. The Mohawks bench became full of injuries and the Lady Warriors took control in the second half, knocking the ball around, crisscrossing fields and making runs. Keeper B. Vaccar (9 saves in the game) got her fingertips on a Madison penalty kick, but the ball deflected just inside the post.
