The Warrior Golf Team emerged victorious at the OHSAA Southwest District 3 Sectional Tournament, held at The Mill Golf Course in Cincinnati, clinching a hard-fought win by just two strokes over Summit Country Day with a team score of 329. Despite relentless rain and soggy conditions that tested their resolve, the Warriors showcased grit and determination to secure the title.

Monday’s round was a battle against the elements, with play suspended twice due to heavy rain and a third time for darkness, forcing the Warriors to finish on Tuesday morning. Undeterred, the Warriors came back strong, delivering standout performances under pressure. Reid Collins, Chase McCane., and Braden Fleming led the charge, each carding an impressive 81 (+10), with Braden notching a birdie and 10 pars and Chase adding a birdie and 8 pars to his tally, matching Reid's 8 pars. Ethan Girdwood contributed a solid 86 (+15), including two birdies, while Brady Girdwood rounded out the effort with an 88 (+17).

The team’s perseverance through wet fairways and challenging conditions proved their championship mettle. Congratulations to the Warriors for their resilience and well-earned victory, setting the stage for an exciting postseason run!
