What an incredible week for the DC golf team! Not only did they deliver a strong team performance, nearly clinching the Southwestern Buckeye League (SWBL) conference title, but they also celebrated an outstanding individual achievement. Junior Braden Fleming secured the SWBL Player of the Year title at the 2025 SWBL Conference Tournament.

Competing over two rounds on two different courses, Braden posted a total score of 148 (+5) to claim the top spot in the conference. On Tuesday, he shot a 73 (+2), highlighted by an eagle and two birdies, demonstrating his ability to make bold plays under pressure. He followed this with a stellar 75 (+3) on Saturday, carding an impressive five birdies to cement his lead. His consistent excellence across both rounds earned him the prestigious SWBL Player of the Year honor in his first-ever SWBL conference tournament.
