On Friday, September 12, 2025, the DC Warrior golf team battled Carroll in a thrilling match at Pipestone, ultimately falling just short with a team score of 172 to Carroll's 169. Despite the loss, the Warriors showcased their talent and tenacity, keeping the contest razor-close.

Jax Mangin led DC with an outstanding 41, setting the pace with a strong performance. Brady Girwood followed closely with a 42, while Chase McCane contributed a solid 44, and Braden Flemming added a 45, rounding out a competitive effort from the Warriors' top scorers. The team’s depth and determination kept them in striking distance throughout the match.

With this result, DC looks to regroup and come out swinging in the second round of SWBL conference tournament on Saturday.
