The DC Girls Soccer teams both played on Saturday - JV took on a tough Franklin team at home at Ron P., while the Varsity travelled to Northwestern. A. Awori nailed home another beautiful goal. Despite the 1-3 final, the JV girls played with grit, integrity and courage. Way to represent Ladies!

A Varsity clash between the Warriors of Northwestern and the DC Lady Warriors took place. It took DC a bit to get going, but a beautiful goal by B. Acker (K. Jablonski assist) started the scoring, quickly followed closely by a poke-in by Jablonski. After the half, the Lady Warriors turned the tides and sent three goals into the net by R. Zemmer (B. Acker), E. Moore (V. Garrett), and M. Dubusky (E. Moore). B. Vaccar got her fourth clean sheet of the season with her 2 saves.
