The DC Warriors JV Girls went confidently into the Brookville Blue Devil's gym Tuesday evening on a winning streak of 5 of the last 7 matches, but hit a strong offense and defense in Brookville's JV Team. The Blue Devils won in straight sets of 25-17 and 25-15.

DC averages over 8 aces and kills per game - but Brookville held them to only 4 serving aces and 5 attack kills. No front line player for the Warriors had more than 2 kills and no server had more than 1 ace. So it was mostly defense and that's not a remedy for success normally.

The Warriors will try to get back on track tomorrow (Thursday, September 11) when they travel to Carlisle for a 5:30 conference match.
