The Dayton Christian Warriors football team defeated Division 4 Bethel Tate on Friday night with a go-ahead touchdown scored with 50 seconds remaining. The Warriors played without five starters, but were able to secure the win. Coach Hurst commented after the game, “Our devotional Thursday night was on Radical Love of Christ. We challenged our players to display Radical Love for their teammates for four quarters. I am pleased with the example they showed throughout the game.”
In the 28-25 win over Bethel Tate, Eli Queen was recognised for his defensive performance and received the Player Spotlight of the Game. He recorded 12 tackles, including 6 solo tackles, and 1 sack. His efforts contributed to containing Bethel Tate’s offense and played a substantial role in the win.
Caden Shepherd also earned the Player Spotlight of the Game for the second consecutive week. He finished with 9 catches for 125 receiving yards, 1 touchdown, and 2 significant kick returns. His contributions supported the team's success with key plays and effective returns.
